Windsor Town Council to Accept Final Draft General Plan Policy Document and Prepare EIR


On Monday, November 28, at 5:00 p.m., the Windsor Town Council will consider accepting the final draft general plan policy document and directing staff to prepare an environmental impact report for the general plan update project. Additionally, a follow-up discussion on mixed-use land designations and development in the area of east Shiloh Road will take place.

The agenda packet will be available prior to the meeting and can be accessed on this page: http://bit.ly/2cG5xKp .Beginning the week of November 21, 2016, a paper hardcopy of the draft general plan policy document will be available for public review at Windsor Town Hall located at 9291 Old Redwood Highway, Building 400, the Windsor Public Library located at 9291 Old Redwood Highway, Building 100, and CafĂ© Noto located at 630 McClelland Drive, Windsor.  

Windsor residents, Town Councilmembers, Planning Commissioners, and staff have been working on updating the general plan for almost two years. The original general plan was adopted in 1996. This meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Windsor Senior Center while the Council Chambers undergoes renovations. The location of the Senior Center is 9231 Foxwood Drive, Windsor, CA  95492. Redwood Highway, Windsor.
